“As coordinators of the CO:RE project, our main task is to keep an eye on the processes and to support them where we can. And, of course, it is also about networking CO:RE with other initiatives and to accompany it communicatively throughout its development.”
– Uwe Hasebrink, Co-Director Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow-Institut (HBI)
About work package 1
The Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow-Institut (HBI) is coordinator of the CO:RE project. With work package 1, we coordinate the project’s workload, assist in submitting deliverables to the European Commission, manage all communication and dissemination activities, and much more.
Our goals
The overall goal of the CO:RE project is to successfully establish a pan-European knowledge platform. CO:RE aims at making visible and disseminate evidence, data, state of the art methodological approaches, theoretical innovations and much more. In doing so, CO:RE focuses on the requirements of stakeholders and dialogue groups concerned with children and youth online media use, i.e. researchers, educators, policymakers and industry partners. In work package 1, we coordinate all work package activities, make sure all our efforts follow a unified vision, and are barriere-free and easily accessible.
