Parents and Teachers invited to take part in the CO:RE Consultation Series in Ireland
Our team around work package 9, working with Educational Stakeholders in the CO:RE Project, is currently recruiting parents and teachers to participate in a European consultation series. If you would like to participate in one of these meetings please continue reading!
Europe-wide Consultation Series
In these consultation meetings, we want to discuss which issues participants consider important concerning children’s engagement with digital technologies (e.g. online risks, online opportunities, well-being). We also want to gather participants’ ideas to improve the CO:RE knowledge platform currently being developed by our project. This platform will provide essential information about the experiences of children and young people in digital environments and how these experiences could impact them in positive or negative ways.
The consultations take place remotely in an interactive focus group setting (~ 90 minutes) with approximately eight participants per group via an online conferencing system.
The consultations will be led by researchers from European Schoolnet, a network of 34 European Ministries of Education, based in Brussels. European Schoolnet is CO:RE work package 9 leader. This work package focuses on matching the aims and objectives of the CO:RE Project to the needs of the educational sector.
Consultations in Ireland take place between 05 and 09 October 2020.
If you are interested in participating or if you would like to get more information about the consultations, please send an email to internetsafety [at] pdst.ie including your name, contact email, school (primary, post-primary).
